Sunday Worship - 9:30am
Worship is the central ministry of Springdale. Here's what to expect:
Worship at Springdale follows a liturgical rhythm that has been used for centuries. God gathers us around the Word in scripture, sermon, and song. Faith is nourished in Holy Communion. We're sent into the world to go about our daily lives transformed by this encounter with the living God. You can expect the same pattern each week.
Within that framework, pieces change from week to week, season to season. There are songs familiar and new. We stand a bit and sit some. We share joys and pains. We pray for those we know and for those who are not yet friends. Sometimes we participate actively, other times we receive.
All ages are together during this time. It can get a little noisy which is just fine. People wear a variety of clothes. Most importantly, we trust that God is present for us, to forgive, renew, and restore us.
We're a congregation of the ELCA which means we're connected to other church communities across the country and throughout the world. You are welcome at Springdale. Through the love of Christ here, you will leave less like a stranger, and more like a friend.
